6-067 was organized on June 3, 1954. The lodge currently has 112 members.
Meetings
Soldalen
Lodge meets at 1 p.m. on the second Saturday of the month, at Joslyn
Senior Center, 21 Grant Street, in Redlands. There is usually a brief
business meeting, followed by Norwegian refreshments and socializing.
The programs vary throughout the year, but have included videos or presentations
on travel and heritage.

Soldalen
lodge is involved in a wide variety of special events throughout the
year featuring hoth traditional and contemporary programs with a unique
Norwegian-American flavor. Members may participate in...
- An
Easter program with bake sale
- Heritage
month (October) special
- Christmas
party for young and old
- Norwegian
special foods, cakes, cookies, and goodies
- Each
May 17 we have a flag-raising ceremony outside San Bernardino City
Hall, where city and Sons of Norway dignitaries take part. The following
Saturday we continue the celebration with a picnic at Yucaipa State
Park.
- The
National Orange Show is visited by almost 80,000 people. We show off
our bunader and sell Sccndinavian items.
- "Lights
Around the World," where we help to open the city's holiday season,
along with 22 other ethnic groups, by giving a special Norwegian program.
- ...and
that's not all. The lodge also participates in other social events.
Sons of
Norway lodge activities encourage expression of Norwegian culture and
community concern.
