Project Framtid
The Sons of Norway Project Framtid program creates a
partnership between lodges and youth organizations. The objective is to enrich
the scholastic, cultural and community experience of adolescence–aged
children.
To this end, Project Framtid provides members a unique opportunity to
showcase their talents, skills and creativity. Let this be a challenge to lodge
members to think about how they would most enjoy giving back to their community.
Remember, the goal is to support local youth, but it’s also to have fun!

Special Request from Project Framtid Coordinator:
I need your help and
input! I would like to have a photo essay on the activities that you
have done for FRAMTID and Adopt a School. We have so many things that are part
of our community outreach for Sons of Norway. We have members who have
sponsored community festivals, are teaching Norwegian, attending International
Summer School, volunteering at tutoring opportunities, putting together Books,
Backpacks and Elementary schools, working one on one with the Scouts, providing
flags for a Church's International Dinner, sponsoring artists and performers
for schools and community events, exhibiting and hosting cultural skills to community fairs, libraries and schools, etc. *That etcetera is where you come
in, let me know what you are doing and we can share ideas and
opportunities.
Please forward your favorite photos and a brief (10 to
15 word description, plus applicable names) so that I can begin to compile a
"notebook" for the District 6 Convention. I also ask your help to
provide a photo and basic information (name, scholarship/grant, school or
program ) or your scholarship recipients for the years 2010 June to 2012 June, I
hope to have a table or Power Point display for the District Meeting at Mesa is
June 2012.
I very much appreciate your help with these projects!
Diane Molter, Framtid coordinator for District 6 at GRNBViking09@live.com or 8670 N. Edison St. Denver, Co
