Velkommen til Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson Lodge!

Bjørnson Lodge was organized on April 14, 1910, and is one of the oldest lodges in the order. The lodge currently has 266 members.

Meetings

Bjørnson Lodge usually meets on the first Friday of each month unless otherwise announced. There is a business meeting, followed by refreshments and socializing, and frequently a brief program. We have a pancake breakfast in the spring, Anniversary Dinner in April, Cultural Programs in May and October, a lutefisk dinner in the fall, and a Family Christmas Program among our social events.

We own Bjørnson Hall at 2258 MacArthur Blvd in Oakland, near Fruitvale Avenue, and most of our events take place there. Among our other groups are the Handiclub and the Good Cheer Committee (which meets during the day the fourth Friday of the month). We actively support our district's beautiful Camp Norge in the Sierra foothills off I-80.
